Wellbeing Outreach Project

Our Wellbeing Project is a Big Lottery funded project aimed at supporting people in Somerset to improve thexir mental wellbeing. The project will be running wellbeing groups within the community focusing on improving:

  • Confidence
  • Life skills
  • Assertiveness
  • Social skills
  • Training & Employment opportunities.

The groups are three-hours long and include both a taught and creative session related to the individual weeks' content in a 12 week rolling programme. Our Support Workers also offer short 1-1 wellbeing checks as well as individual guided goal setting support.

Individuals are able to come for as many weeks as they like, and may chose to do more than 12 weeks, or even return to volunteer! Come along and meet with us at the individual groups on the days and times below:

  • Yeovil, St. Marks Hall (BA21 4PU) Every Tuesday, 11am-2pm
  • Crewkerne, Henhayes Centre (TA18 8DA) Every Thursday, 2pm-5pm
  • Langport, Great Bow Wharf (TA10 9PN) Every Monday, 2pm-5pm
  • Frome, Medical Centre (BA11 2FH) Every Tuesday, 2pm-5pm
  • Shepton Mallet, Community Hospital (BA4 4PG) Every Friday, 10am-1pm
  • Glastonbury, Red Brick Building (BA6 9FT) Every Friday, 2pm-5pm

I have come a long way since I joined the groups & have done things I didn't think I'd ever do. It's all thanks to coming here
